PBC Submission to the Chairman Sindh Revenue Board

A delegation of the Pakistan Business Council met the Chairman Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) in Karachi on December 13th, 2011. The delegation appraised the SRB Chairman and his team about the operational difficulties being faced by businesses operating in Sindh with regard to certain provisions of the Sindh Sales Tax Act 2011. A copy of the issues raised by the PBC team along with suggested remedies is attached.

Sindh Revenue Board Replies to PBC’s Submission

The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has formally replied to the PBC’s submission to the SRB dated December 13th, 2011 for easing the difficulties in doing business in the province of Sindh. Through this letter the SRB has committed to taking up the issue of adjustment of input sales tax on services with the FBR and also to resolve the disparities in the systems being followed by the FBR & the SRB. The detailed reply is attached.
